Now that winter has arrived, I am able to complete a series I began last April. The winter picture turned out to be the most difficult—not to take the photos but choose the one to include. I opted for the cheer of winter sunshine—although an over-cast image with snow falling tempted me as well. In a compromise, I am showing the darker image down below. They were taken one day apart, both in natural light.

And, I can see why you wondered at which winter photo to include. The sun lite one is so nice and yet, the over cast photo does more accurately capture what it's like in January, in Michigan, oh... at least 95% of the time.
